Post LVL Siriyesness: Barcelona Trip 2011

Hi
So my next post is about my trip to Barcelona in 2011.
The best part was it was fully paid by my company. It was a company business trip. Greatest part; everything was on company haha.
Bes gilaKeji kan?
Anyway, there were few pictures i think related to the hepi part of the trip.
I went there for a week, only had Saturday off for sightseeing. Other days were tiring, busy and hectic.
Nonetheless it was a great experience going to Europe. Thanks P*****A for giving me such opportunity.
Mediterranean temperature was on early spring if i have not mistaken.
Not as cold as Christchurch, but still needed to wear thick clothing due to windchill.
My business acquaintances said I was quite unlucky coming at that time. He said summer is nicer. Very nice.

KLIA.

Barcelona International Airport. Cant remember the proper name.

Barcelona. Birthplace of the Catalan warriors; FCB.

. Window view from my apartment room, Vilanova. Suburb of Barcelona.

Subway station of Sagrada Familia.

Alley in La Rambla Road

Raining day at La Rambla Road. Typical Malaysian uses no umbrella. No cool. Indeed.

We moved to an accomodation at the heart of Barcelona; Eurostar. Location wise good, but shit compared to Vilanova's features.

The famous Sagrada Familia building. Damn huge!

Made prayer at the site. LOL lvl: Syukur Malaysia masih aman.

If you have noticed, all sightseeing pictures were in the same attire. Proof that I only off-duty for one day.
Well documented evidence. Hell yeah!

Blog 101: A brief introduction to Blogging

OMG!

Been tasked of creating a blog of anything.
So I came out with a blog theme of anything that crosses my mind.

I am not a writer myself, and never won any writing competition since school.
My composition skills sucks, hence i took engineering alternatively. haha
looking at the bright side, i have a very good exaggerating skills that is very useful at attracting crowd reading my articles.
As proof, i had been a chief editor for futsal league bulletin board during my college years.
Initially all the stuff was on the teams details, matches time and results.
What i did what i benchmark gossiping articles from Metro and I turn the elements into sports articles.
Every time we posted weekly edition, the corridor was flooded with people interested reading our stuff.
Dear God!
Boys, girls and even lecturers read our articles. the response was so encouraging.
They enjoyed reading it, maybe as distraction from hectic life of academics i suppose.
But yeah, the reception was so hype that most people just wanna wait for next edition rather than knowing how the league went.
For me, it was a good experience having a journalism sort of experience. I gotta say I loved that job.

However, my writing skills ended there. No articles written during uni years. Nothing at all.
Hmm well the inspiration came back to me in 2009 in a trial to know how marketing works by blogging.
I am not from marketing background hence the trial stopped as life commitment hit me hard. Nonetheless it was a good try.
Next I am gonna disclose how i build my 2nd blog by bechmarking my previous KarutMarutcom blog.
hehe

Oh yeah by the way, look at the picture i made above?
Impressed?
LoL it was made by power point.
So hardcore! haha

Post LVL Siriyesness: Once Upon a time in New Zealand

Hi guys
Just want to share my experience living in NZ ages ago.
Life was great and awesome.
I stayed in Christchurch from 2005 to 2008.
Spent 3 summers there, worked like hell, own 2 cars (!!).
Mingled with locals, stayed with them. worked in retails, farms and gone snow riding with my mates.
Life was simply chillax, fantastic and wonderful.
Experience is the greatest lesson human can get, gotta get the most out it.
Life experience teaches you how to live your life and shape your future.

This is a brief summary of my experience in New Zealand:

Year 2005
- Got dumped into Christchurch, NZ. Lost in translation, literally! Had to adjust communication skills on local accent. Gidday mate!
- Started to love living on my own. Total Freedom!
- First experience of snowfall. Jakun ayam bai!
- Embarked my first roadtrip encompassed 2149km down south South Island. Good start to discover NZ!
- Spent summer working like hell. Bought my own car!
- Never knew that NZ homes several great ski & riding mecca in South hemisphere. Ignorance sucks!
- Bought my snowboarding gear. Say hello to riding bratha!

Year 2006
- 2nd year engineering year was kinda difficult. Lost few kilograms no shit.
- Drafted the philosophy of what does not kill you, will make you grow much stronger. I LIVED without heaters during winter, bloody 3 months of sub zero temperature! Damn it was radical! Developed black bruise finger joints, felt 10 Celsius is good temperature for me, 15 is hot and my ears were red. Seriously, screwed experience hahaha.
-2nd roadtrip covering North Island. My conquest was another step closer!
- Went boarding by myself. Got challenged by experience snowboarders, they spilled snow on me. Well, Challenge accepted! Gimme 2 season an I'd hit double diamonds!
- First skydiving experience! 15,000ft freefall. Anyone?
- Working literally 7 days/week for summer. Hectic, no life and tiring. Trust me, it was nonetheless good life experience.
- Went to Tenacious D concert. Rock on!

Year 2007
- I made my mind moving to a mix apartment. There were american, kiwis, european etc. THIS IS LIFE!
- My flatmates are party goers. I tried to mix around but it only last for 1 hour. Everyone was on piss and literally i was living in my own world of sober. Then i decided to keep myself busy with assignments every party held in my flat. My friends kept on knocking my door, inviting me to join them. I politely refuse due to my assignments and explain to them party wasnt my thing. Amazingly those non muslims understood. Why we malaysian lacking this sort of intellectualism? Oh yeah, not forgetting this- sober driver? It was me. Nothing personal really. I got Mexican food treats! Guys, it is not up to my level of hotness sorry.
- My daily conversation was in English. That time, i even had dreamed in English. lol!
- Made my third roadtrip. Finally I covered the north-est and south-est part of NZ.  Domination! This record never being broken till date.
- Bungy jumped at Taupo. Sweet!
- Snowboarding? I got myself to intermediate level. basic skills of riding owned! Next year; double diamond trail! Went for boarding trip to Queenstown with my american flatmates. Got knocked near-unconsciousness while on huge jump on advanced ramp, thought it was intermediate's! I got my vision blue-ed for 10 secs. Gained consciousness, went for few runs down. Alive and still kickin. Gnarl!
- Muse concert bro! Superb showmanship!
- Went back to Malaysia after 3 years of away. Had to adjust with radio and tv in Bahasa. LOL macam mimpi! My malaysian friends joked me on the latest malaysian hit song- Pudar by Rossa. Woi barua tipu aku kene gelak je dol. lagu 2005 tu!

Year 2008
- Last year in NZ. Grew matured  and wise;  been through life lessons extensively in NZ.
- Snowboarding; involved in snow clubs gatherings and carpooling. Had myself run expert trails heaps time, if those made me advanced rider haha. Trails like almost 90 degree elevation. Damn..
- Since my NZ conquest was done, I focused my trip solely on snowboarding and hitting off trails. Mt Olympus, Porters, Broken Rivers etc. This time i sprained my ankle a lot!
- My final year of engineering student finally came into success! Trust me, i am an engineer!
- ended my NZ experience on 25th December 2008. Flight attendants and fellow kiwis/american friends pity me for having Xmas on board. Peduli hapa aku aku bukan sambut Xmas pon lol.

I hope I can come to NZ again, maybe as my second home.
